AUTOMATIC DOORS FOR EVERY PURPOSE
When thinking about outfitting an automatic door, the first thing to determine is the purpose of the door, its location, and its dimensions. After this, our expert staff can tailor the necessary automatic mechanism and its required auxiliary equipment. The selection of the mechanism is affected for example by the weight and number of door leaves and the placement of the door either in an interior or exterior area.
B15 AND C CLASS AUTOMATIC SLIDING DOORS
All sliding and hinged doors with B15 fire class certification manufactured by Pocadel can be delivered either for manual operation or with automatic mechanisms. Our product range includes sliding doors from single-leaf sliding doors to multi-leaf, extra wide sliding tandem doors. In addition to fire proofed B15 automatic sliding doors we also deliver C class automatic sliding doors.
The latest automatic DELI sliding doors in our range have been fire-tested according to the latest rules issued by IMO (International Maritime Organisation), equipped with an automatic mechanism on both sides.
Our Deli range automatic doors are tested with the Dorma ES 200 sliding mechanism and they do not require separate mechanical locks. Lock assembly is available as an optional accessory. Furthermore, the drive unit is equipped with a speed limiter, which is Pocadel’s own solution for rough sea conditions. Deli doors are delivered without locks and sills.

AUTOMATIC HINGED DOORS
Our automatic hinged doors include hinged door mechanisms developed for marine use, which can be equipped with various additional cards depending on the end-use of the door.
INSTALLATION AND COMMISSIONING
All automatic doors supplied by us are assembled and tested at the manufacturing plant before being shipped to the customer.
Most customers will install the doors themselves onboard the ship according to use instructions provided by us.
If necessary, we have an expert installation and commissioning service available.
Automatic sliding doors will require periodic service, and the customer will do well to remember to build a sufficiently large maintenance hatch for automatic sliding doors.
AFTER SALES SERVICES
Automatic doors include wear parts, and they require regular servicing. Because fire-proof glazed doors are strategic products on ships, assistance is required quickly in case there is a problem.
We are expanding our global service network so that we can be able to assist our customers all around the world whenever they need help.
We also offer various service contracts for ship owners that cover the maintenance and service of automatic doors.
Our spare part service is currently operating from Finland, but locally provided basic spare parts will be available in the future.
